Ginetta G11

This is earliest of the two surviving G11 convertibles.  Produced by the factory in 1966 X00 48 L was not registered until 1972 by the original owner.  It’s second and current owner has driven it over the last twelve years and recently clocked up over 5,000 miles!  The present mileage is 21,000.

The car is in original, un-restored condition.  Perhaps the pictures are a little flattering but the car has always been garaged, there is no bodywork damage and the car has hardly ever got wet. The trim is all original with roof and tonneau cover, the Ginetta dash and MGB screen, engine, gearbox, live axle with A bracket and radius arms, and coil over telescopic dampers.   The engine bay could do with a good clean.  Prior to sale the car will have the trim and engine bay tidied up, and have a new MOT.

This G11 would make an excellent historic race, rally or hill climb car as its low weight and excellent handling are far superior to those of the MGB.  It would also make a lovely, intriguing and incredibly rare road car just as it is or maybe after enjoying a light cosmetic restoration.
