Ginetta G10 Chassis No. 4
£9,250
We have for sale Ginetta G10 chassis number 4. The UK
registration document shows this car as registration number FAV 177C
chassis 10/004 and classes it as an Historic Vehicle. This is an incredibly rare opportunity and probably the last time a G10
or G11 will come up for restoration as the other three cars are accounted for
and have proved what a phenomenal road or race car they make.
The car has been
completely stripped, the chassis has been restored with replacement
IRS section and now needs seat belt mounting points and powder coating or painting.
The stripped down body shell is sitting on the chassis but not
bonded on and would make a possible replacement. The dash is new and there
are two bonnets with the car. There are no doors but these are MGB items.
There is a hard top moulding which takes the Ginetta screen and there is also an
MGB windscreen. This enables the car to be run as a convertible or an MGB
hard top or the Ginetta hardtop could be modified to fit the MGB screen.

There are two period gearboxes to mate with the 289 Ford
engine that comes with the car. The rear suspension components have been
remade and plated but there is further work to do. A Jaguar type IRS
suspension set-up comes with the car and also front suspension components.
There is no trim but there are patterns from another G11/G10 we have worked on
recently.

Having actually worked on two of these cars we are uniquely placed to offer information, pictures and work on the car. We estimate it
would take around £15,000, including our labour, to turn the project into a
rolling car with working electrics and a nice paint job but no engine or
gearbox. |
